Today a mystery drummer signed a contract for an undisclosed amount to join Vancouver's ground-breaking Marimba band, Kunaka. The signing came as something of a surprise to the other members of the band. One member of the band was heard to say "I don't work with midgets!"

Clearly there is dissent among the members of the group since a source close to the mystery drummer's entourage disclosed (off the record) that the new member is prepared to work for milk and cookies!

Where this will lead, we cannot say but we will keep you posted as this story develops.

Oct 20th 2006 - Members of KUNAKA gave an exciting workshop to a small group of people that had probably never heard of Marimbas. The adult audience was treated to a small performance by the youth group, followed by a hands-on workshop.
